Arctic Char

 

Pisces Fish Machinery has extensive experience in processing Arctic Char. Machines produced by Pisces are processing Arctic Char in Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Canada. Pisces can offer a complete processing line solution or stand alone machines. The Pisces line of products caters to every size process from the FR-75 for small volume processor to the AHF-225 for fully automated large volume processors.

 

Single Fillets

 

FR 75

 

A stand alone filleting machine for head off fish gutted with the belly open. Suitable for fish in the size range 500 grams to 3 Kgs at speeds up to 40 fish per minute.

 

FR 200

 

A stand alone filleting machine for head off fish in the size range 500 grams to 3 Kgs. The FR 200 incorporates an evisceration system and operates at speeds up to 40 fish per minute. Often used in conjunction with the HV 25 Head cutting machine.

 

AHF 225

 

An automatic, single operator system to produce single fillets from whole fish in the size range 500 grams to 2 Kgs. Comprising the HV 25 head cutting machine with an auto transfer unit feeding into the FR 200 filleting machine. Operates speeds up to 60 fish per minute.

 

Head Cutting Machines

 

HV 25

 

A Stand alone head cutting unit for fish in the size range 500 grams to 3 Kgs. Each fish is individually located to ensure optimum position irrespective of size. A vee cut configuration ensures capture of the meat at the top of the head above the gill plate. Often used to prepare fish for the FR 200 filleting. Can be supplied with vacuum evisceration for enhanced Hygienic operation and is an integral component of the AHF 225 single operator system.

 

Pinboning

 

Pisces offers the Unifood Range of machines for pin bone removal. Both single lane (UFT 350) and double lane ( UFT 350 Double) models are available.

 

Skinning

 

Pisces offers the Varlet line of automatic skinning machines. The 1558 for high volume production and the 568 for smaller volume.

 

Head on Evisceration

 

The Pisces SGA-32 has been used to produced head-on gill in fish. The SGA for Arctic Char is modified to allow for fish as small as 300 gram to be processed. The bloodline/kidney and all of the viscera are removed from the fish.

 

Evisceration/Gutting Machines

 

DC-18

 

This stand alone eviscerating machine removes all off the viscera and blood line from a head off fish. The machine can also be used on a head on fish if the belly has been opened. This machine does not offer any roe saving.
